We also use the backup and recovery capabilities of the SAN (Storage Area Network), reducing any duplication of effort and leveraging the strength of an MPP architecture for queries and backups at the same time. Mirroring allows companies to continually backup new data, quickly fail over to an exact copy, and restore anywhere using a third business copy of the data image. The bottom line is that any interruptions to the business are minimal.

Whether it’s medical records, consumer information, financial data or highly classified government intelligence, you will be pleased to see that ParAccel is the only analytic database vendor that allows for encryption down to individual columns in a table.
For efficiency, we can encrypt whole blocks, instead of having to encrypt every individual cell. Of course you’ll want to know that our encryption is AES128, AES256, TDES, PCI, and STIG compliant.
